Im not an American so I don't recognize Halloween.
my boys did not trick or treat when younger either.
Sounds like another gimmick made up by Hall Mark lol

Halloween or, all hallows eve, is older than Christmas and Easter. It's a combination of the Mexican day of the dead festival and the British Pagan hallows eve tradition.
I'm not a Christian but I still celebrate Christmas and Easter ;-)

its actually an english pagan celebration of death. cept the Americans commercalised it...

you beat me too it lucas. definately agree with the christmas and easter analogy too (and any other day that gets me a day off work).

And really what's wrong with kids running around and having a good night? You older blokes use to get cracker night so who cares where it came from and if it's been commercialised let the kids enjoy it.

For Halloween a couple of my mates got and Bunch of cap guns and did drive by shootings on all the kids out trickortreating. I didn't get any knock on my door, because I live in wilsonton, and no sane person lets their kids anywhere near wilsonton at night.....

nothing at all mate, and wait a minute.. what do you mean older blokes? im only a few years older than you! PMSL. i lived in the middle of town in my suburb so missed out on trick or treating and cracker night.
