If the kids weren't there I would have just left my food at the counter and walked away! What a rip off!
I just got back from camping. At Nelson I bought 19 litres of fuel, 2 choccy blocks and two small bags of mixed lollies, all for the low, low price of $45 bucks. And there was no free stake knives either. So count yourself lucky.

As much as I agree with you and hate paying those prices, it's not just the vendor. The mob putting on those shows charge vendors way too much to have their kiosk or van etc on location......organisers will out price themselves from events.

Locked the chooks up at dusk one was missing (sometimes roosts else where) , sitting at the table eating dinner hear a chook in distress grab the shottie and there is the Mrs dumb dog in the process of killing it.
The chook seems ok the dog is about a foot shorter from my foot up its arse.

It was Sandowns own catering who were charging these prices.
