Hey what's the end result difference between using the tyre plug kit, and getting it done at a tyre shop? I was though the tyre plug kits were only for temporary use?

I want to go away on a trip, maybe Googs Track or up to Mungerannie Hotel or similar, but I gots to work.
I usually jump at any work going around, but I've had so much lately that I could take some time off, but I can't coz I got work committments.

The ratchet in my micrometer-type torque wrench destroyed itself under load today. Apparently it couldn't handle the tooth.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.
