We did this on our last place after the builder put himself into liquidation. So much of a headf@#k.
Yes, it's probably more expensive, but your mental health will thank you. Trust me Mark, it took me to a bad place so much that we sold what was meant to be our home to retire in..

No. I work full time. I'm away from home 11 1/2hrs a day so I simply don't have the time.
I'm actually gobsmacked by the, carelessness, dontgiveafuckness or lack of using a brain by some of the trades that come through, @rustynail knows what I mean. Its too hard to explain here, but the amount of issues in the last three days have left me feeling gutted. I'm actually really emotionally and mentally drained this week from what has happened, if there not five $$$$$ figures in fcuk ups this week I will bare my ass in Myers!
Im sure when its all done and in twelve months or whatever time it will be all forgotten. I've built a house before, albeit 20 years ago, this stress is next level.
Time to open another bottle of wine...

Stop and help they said . It'll be fun they said ...
Bloke on his bike crossing the road about 100m ahead of me goes ass over head good and proper.
I stop on the side closer to him to see if he's alright. ( He was fine).
For the next 5 minutes every person in the vicinity and the cars driving past instantly assumed I hit him, hurling abuses at me. Another couple riding past , I over heard the bloke say "this is why I question Bull Bars....." or something like that ... Hectic I tell ya.
