Thanks Plassy, I was so proud of her when she did the phone interview with Peter from the weekly times, spoke very well & didn’t miss a beat. You’ve hit the nail on the head- contrary to what the public are told our industry is highly regulated & constantly scrutinised & audited. The term ‘illegal logging’ that's thrown around so freely has nothing do with us just going & cutting trees down wherever we please as so many people interpret it- 99% of the time it’s a paperwork error or technicality. As you said the alternative is imported timber with NO restrictions or environmental guidelines but it’s not in our back yard so everyone’s conscience is clear.

Thanks mate. Its about time these so call intelligent people got out in the real world , got their hands dirty , learnt how their so called renewables worked. I recon that when they were at school their teacher must have had a very weak arm or their aim was pretty bloody poor with the old duster.

FWIW: Our Ex-GM used to be extremely high up with GunnaaaaSoons timber..global.
As the earlier story goes, massive Australian financial roadblocks were constantly put in place. So much so they diligently worked with Royal Melbourne ZOO to pump Millions into a sustainable ‘Leadbeaters’ - Possum extinction breeding program. Every single Multi-Mega Dollar ‘Leadbetter’ born died within months of tagged release.
The reason was that Native LBP’s are by NATURE extremely ‘Allusively’ Territorial and didn’t Appreciate the already still & Always there selectively harvested corridors built against Rivals.

Anyone else a little peeved that tourists can spend thousands of dollars touring our Red Center and learn ZERO Geological FACTS at sites?
Plenty of Dream Time Stories (Do promise I aint racist) Education Plaques/Signs our there etc…
Where are the sub-geology disclaimers below and how did the sea come to be??
