..........
Having our Singapore accommodation cancelled on us 4 days before has really pissed me off, no explanation given just cancelled without notice and refunded. Airbnb are really dodgy as they have no rules for the hosts.

Somebody has created a fake Facebook profile under the name of the young girl's mother, asking people to donate money to pay for her funeral.
That makes me angry.

Our ISP has accidentally ported our internet service... So until it's rectified I'm without home wifi. Very annoying.

OK, I'll ask the question - what does that mean - ported our internet service - why can't you get wireless.

That's very bloody ordinary mate.
Bloody ISPs. Whenever there's an NBN maintance outage our ISP still bills us. We had an outage planned for a week. I argue that they're not offering what they advertise and that's access to the Internet and we shouldn't have to pay during an outage. I may as well face into the oncoming wind and urinate.

Ported means, in this environment, transferred. It can be from ISP to ISP, client to client, provider to provider. The term is most commonly used when you move from your current ISP to a new ISP, they port/transfer your connection from one to another.
