There has to be a funny one liner in there somewhere, but I can't see it. Sounds a bit fishy.

A little Annoyed.
Have a Cracked Mounting Bracket on My Exhaust Dump Pipe, the bracket has pulled away from the Catalytic Converter Body, meaning I have a couple small holes in the Catalytic Converter and extra stress on my Turbo casing as a result.
Had booked My Patrol in last Wednesday to have the Dump Pipe pulled off and the Bracket rewelded. Was going to coast around $300 to have it all done, but then found 3" Replacement Exhaust Systems on the Net costing between from $550 to $1000 with rather good reviews, so decided to replace the whole exhaust system rather then just undertake what might be a temp repair.
Website said In-stock. Should had rang before placing my order online, almost a week later and I find out it won't be available for shipment for another week or even two . . . .
And that's the worrying thing for me, as I have an unsupported Dump Pipe placing extra stress on my Turbo Body . . . not happy.
My Exhaust doesn't have all the component's ready for shipment, and they (2x Pieces) need to be made up.
Would had been nice to have know at Point of Sale the kit wasn't ready for immediate shipping, would had searched around to find a Supplier who could ship straight away.
Might had a new system installed by now, might had been able to head down to Canberra tomorrow to watch the RAAF's Bi-centenary Fly-By . . . Not happy Camper 🙁

My experiences of ordering stuff online have been 95% bad. That is to say, defective, wrong model, or not going to be available for ages. I have a brand new starter for a Nissan Navara, sitting in a box from Patrolapart, instead of the One for the RB30. I got it early last year, and a mechanic tried to fit it six month later and the truth was revealed. So returning it is out of the question.
Buying local is expensive, but warranty, and repair is so worth it.
Does anyone want to buy a Navara starter?

Have you spoken to Patrolapart about it? They are generally very understanding and good to deal with.

To tell you the truth, I had shelved it and keep forgetting to do something about the bloody thing. Grant209's post Jogged the memory box.

mudnut,
Yep . . . know where your coming from, I'm generally cautious about purchasing stuff on-line. Where ever possible I'll try to go into the store and have a little walk around the store and check out what I'm looking for when ever possible before I purchase a significant item.
I've dealt with Patrolapart a couple of times, and generally found them quiet helpful being a New Comer to GU Patrols.

I gotta get me one of them for the display mate. Add it to my Coon cheese, Redskins and Chickos packs on display high up in the kitchen. What was never racist but now cancelled I have on display to remind me we were not always so hysterical.
