Dogged again
I'm angry today because of some a'wipe that I arranged to purchase a set of wheels for a roadworthy and he sells them before I get there. Utter scum and dog act! These people make me sick. My son said he hates dealing through gumtree and this is just typical of the experience.
Wallan and Glenroy are now off the go to purchase something suburbs.

Yeah that would piss me off too , and no use complaining to gumtree either , can you find anyone close to your location with a set of roadworthy tyres to swap for the roadie ?

I'll have to look around. I live in Lancefield and there are a few Patrol owners we know in the area.
My son figured he could as easily on-sold the wheels post the roadie anyway.
I told gumtree why I was exiting their 'no-service' system. It's because there is no accountability in gumtree that people can get away with that sort of behaviour. Most people if you contact them will honour a commitment to sell <rant off>.

That would piss me off aswell. But what pisses me off more is waiting around for people who say they are coming to buy something and dont show up. Not excusing what old mate did to you but i can see why people sell there stuff to first person to show up with the cash.

Yeah I can see that side of it having sold a few things including the big caravan on gumtree , people don't turn up or turn up knowing what the item is with a description and photos but say nah wanted one with this or that bloody time wasters .

Yep agree with you all and at the end of the day it comes down to honesty. People say they're going to do something and renegging on the deal. The more ways that have been made available for people to buy and sell makes it available to more tyrekickers. Just go to a swap meet or have a garage sale to experience that side of it.
