Thanks AVO and Mrs AVO for putting up with me but I had to move on as the booze bill was braking my budget.
I must say it was a great day in deliverance country. will be back to explore more.I spent a week here and covered over 1000ks of dirt and sand and there is still heaps more to see.
As Avo said what a great bunch of folks on this forum, dosen`t matter were you go there is a welcome there from a member

Tonight is my last sleep until I start 4 weeks off!!!!
Just about got DX grunt ready for his maiden voyage with all my new glamping toys.
I haven't been beach camping and beach fishing for over 12 months now, and am really, and I mean, really, hanging out.

Thanks for the sound advice.
I've got more recovery gear than a 4x4 shop, more safety gear than the authorities, trip plans have been emailed to those that need to know, got my long range HF radio hooked up to make radio telephone calls when my phone is out of range, and bought a life jacket to go rock fishing. I've even packed my meds (abbreviation for medications) so that I don't stress too much about getting off the black top. lol.
I've run out of excuses not to enjoy myself !!! lol

Well we have one very lucky mother gents!
Poor mum has been in hospital for a few days with influenza and with her chronic asthma it got pretty bad.
5am this morning she had bad chest pains and heart racing.
After some tests today it was found she has blood clotting and the heart wasn't pumping blood properly, pooling, etc.
The doctors say it was only a matter of time until a stroke and if it wasn't for the flu for her to come in we wouldn't have ever known!!!
Apparently she has been like this for years and has always been short of breath but put it down to her asthma but she was wrong.
How lucky are we, the flu has saved mums life, happy days!!!
