You make me jealous and want to get back on a trail bike. But i keep telling myself why i had to stop.
I miss it so much. Its the only time where you are pretty much alone with your helmet on, all your thoughts to yourself, tearing through the bush and just having a blast forgetting about everything else for a whole day.

Yep the first ride after a bit of a break and I think "wtf!? Why have not been doing this!?" lol. That was multiplied by a 1000 yesterday as it's been a little over two years since I've had a proper ride. I think I might have to go again for a morning ride right now!

I have found either a Barking Owl or a Southern Boobook roosting in some trees we planted twenty odd years ago. These thing love to knock over dirty blooody sparrows, apparently, so that is a bonus.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

wont see any sparrows in WA, they have a bounty I think.
