My dad has been a citizen for 40 years and he has never been called for it either.

What do they sting you for the rebuild down there?
And what turbo did you end up using

Complete with blue printing, head work, 12mm pump, injectors, turbo, water rail, their water pump, machining and labour and whatever else they did is 13k'ish. One of the large costs was the balancing and bluprinting. A necessary evil is suppose.
I jokingly had a go at him as they didnt even paint the exhaust manifold, and its got surface rust on it already. Ill take a can of paint in for them tomorrow as a hint. Lol.
As for the turbo ben im shit house with the numbers but he did mention a while back of a gtx3074 or sometihng like that. He was talking about so many things it just went over my head.

Well, if everything works, i.e loom works, starts and runs, i dont see theres a crap load to do. The longest bit would be removal of the anchor, cut and then reweld the new mounts. Pretty meuch everything else is either already in there, or sitting in boxes in the back of the car. All oem fits parts so.... Dunno. They know i need it run in and ready for the school holidays as we are driving up to the gold coast. So in my head im thinking if they go at it and dont stop until its done they could do it witihn a week. But my last thought on how long it would take to build the motor blew out by about 4 weeks. So who knows.

Fcuk thats a good price. Thats what mine came up at without turbo, pump, cooler etc and I spent 30-35 hours doing the porting myself
What turbo, what did they do to the head, do you know who accurate the balancing is?

Legendary
Have to say quite jealous markie, should be a bloody good motor that will be reliable for a very long time. You've gone about it the right way getting everything done properly, price sounds pretty reasonable really. . .
