Riding in jeans with no knee guards. Your one brave man! Or should stupid be inserted? Not trying to be nasty mate, but bush bike riding you are asking for trouble. We always went out wearing the full gear, knee and elbow guards, kidney belt and body armour. This stuff had saved me on many occasions. Cept for my last ever ride which didn't end up well. I will tell you this, take it with a grain of salt if you wish mate. We had a chick in our group a few years back get her bike licence and wanted to come out with the boys. We went camping for a weekend, she came with her bike. She though to take her bike for a quick ride around the camp site, no protection on her at all. Being the ditsy girl she was, she manage to stack at walking speed and she smashed her knee on a rock. Totally stuffing her riding desires for ever and also her career as a personal trainer. Just putting it out there mate. Safety and protection is number 1 with this stuff.
Yep I would agree with you there mate. It's all on the cards, only thing I had that you mentioned was a kidney belt, and also a poor jacket.
Was taking it fairly easy, but will be getting all the gear as soon as I can.
Good stuff. Just a word of advice. Once you get that gear on and have your first stack with it on, you might feel a bit invincible. Just remember your not. But you do feel good in them, when you get just get up and brush the dirt off and have a laugh at the stack you just had. My funniest was laying the Husky down full noise into a corner on a dirt road. I knew I wasn't gonna make it around the bend so I just got it sideways and laid her down and enjoyed the slide. That feck I had body armour on. Had a few scratches on it after that one.
Worth a try mate! My dad is Italian, and we grew up on home made Gnocchi. Had it every Sunday. It was the wog version to a Sunday roast. My dad then remarried, to a Malaysian woman, now, she makes the meanest beef curry with rice I have ever had. Guess what we have now? Beef curry with Gnocchi! Best of both worlds.
