Enjoying the trips
Watching a catch up yesterday arvo. The Off road Adventure Show, they panned around Kidmans Camp at Bourke and there was our Patrol, a whole second of fame. Made us happy anyway.
Cheers

Took the wife and kids to the Werribee open range Zoo. What a magic day weather wise. We got there early, walked into one of the bandicoot enclosures. The dark rooms where they make it night so they all come out. All the lights were on and a worker was cleaning the cages. She said this enclosure was closed but as she left the door unlocked she gave us a close encounter with the bandicoots and a Tawny frog mouth owl. The kids loved it. Then my oldest daughter had another, booked, close encounter with the Serval's, an african cat. She got to feed and pat them etc etc. She was soooo excited.
Bloody good zoo this. second time this year we have been. The bus tour around the park is good, apart from the idiots who don't listen to the rules and make as much noise as they possibly can when asked to be quiet through some sections. But good. We got real close, around three feet from the White Rhinos and Giraffes.
Had a wonderful day not thinking about work.
