What has made you Happy today??

So about 18 months ago me, and quite a few others bought our own Full barrel of Jack Daniels from the distillery in Tennessee through Brown Foreman. Not just your ordinary Black Label. Single barrel, barrel strength. And strength it has. 64.5ABV!
Well I finally got my six tonight, and now I’m sitting back, in my new bedroom, having a sip.
Bloody delish!!!!

I know nothing about Whisky. But that looks pretty special and I know your passion for that sort of stuff.

I bought these two on the left on the below pic. The Balcones is something very different. Texan made.

Good to see there is no ice in the glass.

Wish I was sampling it too.

Agree with the no ice. Sometimes I want my spirit chilled so I leave it in the freezer for 1/2 hour.

Yep. Ice just waters it down and hides the flavours. I admit this one needs a pre warm up spirit first because of the high ABV. It’s got some punch. Next time we meet I’ll have to bring a bottle.
