    This old stationary cabinet I inherited from my grandfather. Amazed to see that the calendar is back in date

    I've got one of them with my name on it through work. It weighs nearly 700kg though and I don't know to get it in my yard just yet

    Haha yes mate, this guy is a heavy fckr. Had to strap it to a tree on the trailer and drive forward to get it off. Apparently they are made from manganese, so it shouldn't rust out

    It is manganese, so if you want to actually weld to it you'll need to use a 310 (from memory) stainless steel electrode.

    My one is the mantle, its the bottom half of what you have (the concave). If yours hasnt been used as a firepit yet just make sure it doesnt have any backing compound still stuck to the outside. That shit stinks up a storm
