Yeah they wanted $1200 for the 2 doors. I asked him what he thought and he said i will never tell the difference. If it was his he would polish them not paint them. I was happy with that.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Mine is agreed value of $38k but I will probably have that reviewed once it is resprayed but $45k would be Top Dollar. If you saw one advertised anywhere for $56k every man and his dog would take the piss out of the guy posting the for-sale as a dreamer. Just never gunna get it. As yours is a conversion and not a factory TD then the market value is even less to be honest mate.

I agree but if I were to put a replacement cost on every accessory in the vehicle. This is what I came up with. However. When I first did it. They included the cost of the TD rebuild and conversion as an accessory cost. Over insured yeah but hey. If I right it off, I know I’m well covered. For a Y62!

Legendary
Well on the discussion of insurance.
I've got market value on mine and what to see what else is out there.
Those of you that know it what do you thing a fair agreed value is?
Quick run down for the others.
1997 series 1 patrol ST
4.5 litre dual fuel
automatic
winch 2" lift 33 inch muddies on 16x8 Roh rims
gauges and charging points, dual battery
long range belly tank
reduction gears
winch, bull bar, spotlights, UHF, pioneer head unit with digital TV tuner, rear drawers fridge slide and cage, console fridge.
Is 10-12k unrealistic
Cheers..

The way is see it John. Is. If your Patrol were to be gone. What would it cost to replace it? To what it stands now... work out market value of the vehicle alone. Then all the bolt on’s.

Roster change due to Covid -19, 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Site rang today to say they have been hit by additional stupid QLD Govt restrictions and Corporate HR have jumped on the band wagon and basically made it 10 times harder again to get to site. Upside is the Mine manager wants me to stay so its basically 6 weeks off until I have to return, and I can work from home, pick the hours, pick the projects and basically happy days - daughter is in the throws of labour now so waiting for the announcement - plenty of time to see the new arrival when it comes.
