Have got another box back in december with bailey channels as well. Tried to find a similar one on the local market but nothing fitted nicely.
The windshield seal I was able to get with the windshield itself a couple of years ago.
Trunk side glasses I have not pulled the trigger yet because I am still trying to improvise with local market seals from other cars. The sliding window is proving to be a challenge.

GQ is getting neat! Hope I find some time to write about the latest things I have put together.
I bought Nissan Patrol Genuine Door Seals and bailey channels from PAP and had a few bee stings. Two doors were too tight and the doors needed to be slammed shut to close, so was forced to swap them out to the originals. I also installed all new bailey channels, but found the front windows would not slide to the final closed position, was bunching up in the corner of the window frame, so I ended up swapping them back to the original, tried talcum powder, didn't work. Good luck

My eldest daughter, who is 20, recently scored a new job, she starts at the end on Feb. She is going to be a ringer at Nokatunga station. Pretty much a south west in Queensland you can get. The station is on 2 million acres and has its own pub. Lol. She will be playing with around 20,000 head of cattle as well as doing station work.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nockatunga_Station

She's one bloody brave kid and I'm a tad nervous about it to say the least. But I cannot and will not stop her from having a go. I do have a feeling once she gets the taste for life out there she'll stay out there, as she's much like me, hates the city life with a passion and can't get enough of the rural life.

    Cheers.
So I have decided to make the drive up to the station with her as I was quite uneasy about her doing the trek with two horses in a float. Its gonna be a hell of a long slow drive up, and then back, by myself.

Edit : Since I have never been out there, does anyone know if there is Telstra coverage? Should I be hiring a Sat phone maybe?

Edit 2 : Seems there not. Maybe I should look into hiring one....

    G`Day Mate.
Don`t know about the phone coverage but I was thinking about the horses. We dragged the daughters nag, Ned from Adelaide to Canberra as she was working there then back after she pulled the pin.
We carried quite a bit of dry feed and a lot of water. stopped every now and then where there was a bit of greenery on the verge and let Ned out for a little exercise , green feed and water. He was OK and not spooked by any passing traffic, a very calm nag, Camping over night we found Show grounds were the go as they had secure yards and stables.
Just a couple of thoughts from me to you.
Mate she is going to have a ball, freedom ,fresh air, and doing what she wants out of life.Wishing her the time of her life.

    Don`t forget,No phone, CASH ONLY.

You don't need a sat phone. There is coverage in all the towns and communities you are passing through and there will be enough traffic on the roads if you get into difficulties.

    You will have a ball!

FWIW: An epic humane towing adventure via a GU Patrol capable forward load float for two should be calculated at something like triple/quadruple expected timelines.
You may cut exhaustion down by say 25% if angle loaded

Fark IT, deciding to speak freely
By far cheaper in the long run to pay good coin for professionals to float beloved beasts safely
Follow behind, make all the caring stops too
Very impressed with the Station for incoming tucker sneakers, She’s built/trained some impressive Beasts

I did think about this. Do you have any recommendations on who?
