Picked up the Patrol yesterday and was told the the oil leak wasn't the rear main.
It turned out that the rocker cover gasket had gone brittle and blow out a small piece of rubber at the rear corner of the engine.

Gotta be real happy with that! Expecting to pay thousands and only getting stung a few hundred.
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

Hardcore
We’ve just had a massive storm pass through, torrential rain, hail stones the size of tombollers, thunder and lightening.
House gutters couldn’t cope and over flowed, power out but now back on. And all after I spent over and hour watering my daughters garden.
Happy thread because we had no damage and it’s watered our garden, now I can start the bbq and enjoy my rib-eye and a beer.
Cheers

Yeah I'm following it as we speak mate. It's heading right towards us.

Finally some relief from the humid apocalypse we just had last few days.
Nice and 20C here right now, listening to the amazing rain with a few cold ones....

Haha! I liked it. I was outside on Saturday and Sunday building a pergola! But yeah last nights heat was insane though! I was still in my pool at 12.45am.
