    If a tyre shop is using rope plugs it is illegal. The only way to properly repair a puncture is to remove the tyre from rim and fit a mushroom plug from the inside after inspecting for other damage.

    Never knew about that. My last repair I watched the guy do it at the shop in front of me. I thought nothing of it. Still plugged and working. Anyway, it was good practice since I have never done it before.

    This would have been in the angry thread the other day, came home and saw our car like this...


    But spent 5 mins with the polisher today and it came up like this.


    Was bloody stoked with how easy it came out!
