Bitumen Burner
Got my electrics fixed yesterday. New LED headlight kit fitted and my 520w light bars.......I own the bitumen, baby. PML.
Winner of 'Best 4 x 4 ' at the 2017 Albany Agricultural Society Inc - Town n Country Ute Muster.
Ex Telstra - 2005, 4.2 TDi ute -with pod and more fruit than a grocery shop.

Mechanic asked me today if my roofrack mounted light bar was wired in with the high beams and I said yes , but I have an isolator switch .
He said if the cops pull you up hit the isolator switch and if they ask tell them it's a setup camp light and on a different circuit that has to be switched on manually , he said they are going to crack down on it in the future .
Anything that's above the bonnet can't reflect off the bonnet or windscreen .

I'd be surprised if it pulls even half that. My light bar which was advertised at 240W when I put a clamp meter on it drew something around 8A

Some sellers are advertising the light bar specs at the highest input voltage. Thats what's happening with the 700W light bars.
