I'm with you ba I only go through the bog holes if I have to, as fun as they are, they are so not worth it. Slippery slopes like the climb up from the damb on the other hand, well you still have to clean your car pretty well but there is less water to help the mud get into all the small spots and the hill was so much more fun, I could almost go up and down it all day.

Cost + time outweighs the fun mate.....lol

Alternators, A/C, clutch, muddy water in diffs, transfer and gearbox, etc.....rust in bellhousing, CV's, etc It all adds up.

But....Its bloody good fun though so we need a PIG to do that stuff...lol

I think muds ok (not Darren's otways 5 foot deep mud). It's the dirty watery deep holes that are no good. The grit gets in everything!!!!

I would rather be stuck in a muddy hole than a watery hole like those vids in the first post.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
