This is my much loved and much trusted 1998 GU wagon with the biggest of the diesel engines (so obviously the best), the mighty 2.8.
Engine wise:
Blocked EGR
Deactivated butterfly
Boost controller to 15psi
Donator Speedbox Performance Chip (tuned to high hell)
Switch to activate chip on dash for instant power
Exhaust chopped from flex pipe and sent straight out the side
Bridged 4wd sensor for better engine braking on road
Suspension wise:
Bits and pieces 2" lift
Tough Dog front shocks
Bluepac rear shocks
King springs all round
Urethane Radius arm bushes
Removed Swaybars front and rear (they're overrated)
Wheels/tyres:
Maxtrek Mud terrain 285 75 R16 (cheap Chinese for apprentice budget please don't judge)
Stock Patrol 16" rims
