The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

Hey just another question , i was thinking of tickling up the fuel and downloaded a manual for the GU TD42, 99 mod but couldn't find it in the manual , is there a separate manual for the injector pump ?
Cheers Ash

Nissan don't have much to do with the pump in their manuals as its generally outsourced from Bosch, zexel etc.

Yeh , i'm starting to see that in the manuals but i would have thought there would have been some sort of a break down diagram instructing you on the best fuel set , screw setting ect

There is plenty around on the net about the adjustments, also there is Bosch manual around somewhere for this pumps. The fuel is basically preset by a specialist, you can only adjust Max fuel, fuel delivery and idle. There isn't a specific spec and theoretically they aren't suppose to be adjusted hence the anti- tamper stuff on them from factory.
When you start adjustments just do small ones. That way if it doesn't do what you want you can change it back.
