    2.8 to 4.2

I have the oportunity to put a 4.2 naturally asperated diesel into my GU 2.8 Turbo Diesel Patrol, would this be a good way to go?
I have access to the complete running gear from a GQ 4.2 diesel patrol ute with leaf springs. Is this and easy swap if I have all the motor gearbox and transfer case?
Would the performance and fuel economy be similar? Probably look at straping on a turbo and some point down the track.

At a guess it'll be slower but stronger..
You'll need loom aswell I'm pretty sure.

I reckon it will be a big swap of running gear, Motor, gearbox, loom, ecu for a start, and then see if the gearbox will bolt up to the transfer case, It would be a big job, but if you have the time, tools and all the components then why not?
