    Torque converter LS1 Install

Too all the auto Guru's, I installed the torque converter into my 4L60E and got the 2 clunks. Bolted the engine and gearbox together, no problems there!!!!! Although when I went to bolt the torque converter to the flex plate, there was a 5mm space between the two. Question is, Is this normal????

As you tighten the bolts the converter should slide towards the flywheel. If it doesn't you have jammed it somewhere.

Yeah it slid together nicely when I tightened up the bolts. Cheers for that. I would hate to destroy the pump after I had just rebuilt it.
