tip: something that goes well with an inspection camera, if you haven't already got it, is a flexible magnetic pick-up tool. you can see the screw you want back with the camera, and get it with the pick-up tool. i've had a nut decide to live inside a chassis rail and it would've been a lot worse without one to try and fish it out

Off topic but another thing for getting that hard to reach item,
compressed air, providing it can fall out and not become trapped farther back.
IF IT'S NOT A NISSAN.
THEN IT'S A COMPROMISE

turn heater on and see if you can hear it??
I'm not convinced it went down the duct, not pulling your leg is he lol

Nah, I saw it fall down. As
he went to put it on the dash
the Trol hit a bump and threw
off his aim. I tried scraping
every mm of the duct with a
bit of coat hanger. There is no
catchment so the ring has rolled
down into the heater module.
I also wish to inspect the inside
of the chassis and body panels.

That sounds unfortunate. the retail stores around here have pretty expensive cameras, but you've got to be careful with the dirt cheap china stuff because it won't last as long (although if it's not needed everyday it might last a while). a good secondhand one would be good

Picked up a cheap usb style camera.
It works great.
Found the ring, but the hook
from the camera came off and
is stuck as well. I'm off to post
in the angry thread.
