I'm also trying to get some info on TJM winches 'like if they are made under licence by warn.
Or made by another Party to TJM specs,
I wonder how many parts are interchangable, amongst the low mounts
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

Had A worked Warn high mount for winch comps. Sold that as to compete it needed a further 5-7k. So put the v8 in the patrol instead.
Had a Kingone winch 9500 top budget winch from china at the time and a good reputation. Really happy with that winch.
Got given a Aldi winch, have serviced it with a winch Service kit from super cheap auto. That will go of the PX Ranger....
And in the market again for a winch for the patrol. Back looking at the new high speed Kingone with a massive price decrease from when I bought my last one. Also can get cool a air freespool actuator saving me or mate heading back to the winch to manually engage the gears.

I don't think you know if a winch is any good until it's really been put through it's paces like being submerged in a bog for an hour and still managed to pull you out of the bog! Simply sitting there nice and dry with the odd pull up a hill is no real test. :-)

Tigerz Grande 12000. Used about 20-30 times in twelve months, mostly at Glasshouse in some deep mud, also on the beach at Bribie and on the Bribie inland dtrack.
Hauled our fat GU and camper trailer outta some hub deep sand no worries. Pulled a few Hiluxes and Cruiers outta deep mud no worries.
Works well,

was trolling the net for some comparisons, this seemed to be a good article given the fact it seemed pretty unbiased and thorough to the point of breaking them and submerging them.
Just don't know how old it is..
