Gauges in GU1 Glasses holder? (roof)

Hey guys I have been looking around for a while and have seen only a couple but they have changed the whole setup. I was wondering if there is a piece you can buy that replaces the glasses holder to fit two gauges (EGT and Boost) If not has anybody got info on a mod for this? would like to mount the as high as possible so they arent in the way and look flush.

Have you looked on ebay, perhaps you can modifiy something from there ?


When you say you want it to look "flush" , do you mean you dont want the gauges to hang down lower that the sunglass holder lid when closed ?

Or do you mean you have the gauges hanging out the hole, but its all moulded and smooth so it looks almost factory ?

or something else ?

Only thing I can suggest is an overhead console of some description or make your own overhead parcel shelf

I cant really make a custom one due to the install of a dvd player. I want it so the pod sits half in and half out. sort of like the xr6 dash mounts Pic
