You say we could meet up on the Hume a but earlier than 9. Where would this be? Maybe a servo along the way from Melbourne?

Not stopping along the Hume as it means to many pit stops for a trip that is only 40min up the road... As mentioned I am leaving Thomastown at 8am, if you wanted to meet anywhere it would be at the Broadford turn off at about 8.45am otherwise it is the look out at 9am.
If you get there early (at the look out) start airing down... start with 22psi but I bet the pressures will need to come lower than that by the look of all this rain.

Mate was in Talla today. Hes a crazy relentless mofo and doesn't generally let the impossible stop him. But after last nights deluge and todays on and off rain, even he called it quits after midday. Was apparently way too sloppy, and would have been crazy to keep going. Yeh, he sounded like a pussy, but to me if he says it's too slippy, then its too slippy!
Hope you blokes have fun out there, wish my rig was kitted out enough to come along. Maybe next time!
Edit: Thought I'd mention he drives a Toyo lux
