We are going but out times are slightly different due to school holidays, we are leaving the Friday afternoon and taking the central " short cut" stopping at Ayers Rock and then coming back down birdsville track and across the nullabor also taking 3 weeks but taking our time coming back...... Also 99 per cent taking camper trailer

I'm on the fence, still. lol.

Looking at options on which route to take. Will get back to you all shortly.

Depends on my holiday dates, too.

Your looking for the Ghan Heritage trail. If you have time then a night at Chambers Piller is recommended before heading into Mt Dare for fuel and down to Dalhousie.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
