Did Jaycar do a similar product ??, Must show yawl my hotdog cooker[homemade]
Fashioned it using a pot and guts from a 12v kettle.
@ Winnie how did Dim Sims turn out never had them boiled before or were you steaming them somehow??
I only used my unit via the AUX Batt cig outlet, but much prefer merit/anderson, But when travelling in convoy and sharing equipment not all people have EG a Merit socket, Thats why I've made adaptors for cig to merit and vice versa Easy to make and cheap to.

Little bit of water in the bottom and they steamed nicely.
Has anyone got a photo of it out of the plastic case or at least open,
Sounds like a good thing.

Think they look like alloy dishes both sides {smooth] , so you could for EG tip in a few tins of baked beans
go driving while they warm up.
This is pic of larger style

look it up on ebay or similar and it tells you times like rice 30mins pies maybe 50 min stuff like that'
But I would think that would vary, cant think of anything better on a freezing day driving to whip out a few pies like Winnies mate did.

Well for only $26 delivered, I purchase one. Be great when in the bush all day cutting fire wood. Homemade hot meat pies for lunch, got to be better than sandwiches.
