Just noticed on your signature "needs a turbo"...... hows that 'charger going??
Charger on hold till I get my axle swap done. Then there'll be a week or two while it's on stands. It needs the bottom pulley modifying for the poly V belt drive.
Just can't face not having it available for mud runs at the weekends

Guard chopping is simply taking a few inches off the wheel arch so it can better accommodate larger wheels at full lock without them scrubbing on the guards.

Cant you make tube front guards with sheetmetal on top no sides.
That way a Landrover/FJ 40 tyle indicator assy will fit, do you get where I'm going???
Sort of buggy style. Can draw rough pic for you if need be

Yeh I think that's what I'm in the process of doing. Going to use same size tube as winch bumper and folloow the shape of the "guard"
My guards are trimmed a bit already for clearance .
Argh too many jobs on my wishlist :/
Ta for your help, a drwg might be handy or a link, cheers :-)
