    Mud? Creeks? Water? What are these?

    In the great sahara we have sand and .............more sand and a few rocks here and there !

    Of course we have the river Nile running through the middle but thats all inhabited and quite civilized so not really an off road area, mind you thats only about 12% of country the rest is pure desert.

    what amazing pics, thanks for sharing with us all. how on earth did you manage to carry 700L of fuel?? thats incredible
    My Pride and Joy, stock standard White 1998 GU 2.8L Turbo Diesel. Mods yet to come, I only bought it in Dec 2010, Cant wait to have some money saved and get started!!!

    Thank you all, glad you enjoyed these.
    As for the fuel question: 8x2 jerry cans on the roof= 160 lit + 8x 60 lit chlorine cans in the trunk( had lots of fumes the first day, but overcame this by plugging the vent holes in the caps with some epoxy)=480lit+140 in main and sub tank =780lit !

    gxr, I tribute You!!!

    Have balls to go by car into country like that. In summer I've been in Kola Paninsula RUSSIA and I wondered how many days would it take to get out of there. But that is nothing compare to Your trip.
