    Mate,

    Seems a bit too cheap for a winch with that capacity.

    But who knows could be a great thing.

    I'll leave it to someone who knows much more than me to advise you.

    i'd be very surprised if it bolted up and fitted a Factory or ARB Bar! great for the back of a TOW TRUCK! IT WILL BE HUGE!
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    At 50kg its not practicle as a towbar winch unless you go to Gym fulltime

    17000lb is overkill in my Opinion.
    Look at warranty, current draw, park, mounting ability + quality etc.
    06 GU IV Nissan Patrol wagon 3.0L, Tough Dog 2" lift, Xrox bar, 12k Mako winch, 33" muddies, 3" exhaust, Awning, UHF, drawers & fridge, custom sliders, DVDs, custom water tank and pump, rack etc etc.
    Now just in - GQ Shorty 4.2 petrol, UHF - but looking at turbo or V8 conversion

    $460 delivered they mounted straight up to my old patrol doctor bar that was set up for a warn warranty with them is good and they are a bloody tuff winch IMO heaps better than tigers and aldi etc I've done a 2.5hr winch pull on it on a steep hill 1hour of that would have been with the car turned off running on starter battery krbrooking was extremely impressed watching it in action I say go for it mate you will be impressed
