great looking setup mate. Has given me some good ideas. Planning to make mine from light guage steel for frame, hopefully get the weight in under 90kg all up. Will definitely look for that nylon stuff though. Thanks for the great pics to.
Seemed like a good idea at the time

Thanks mate. I'm very happy with it to.
90kg is very heavy.. mine came out at 40 odd kg.
If your using steel aim for 1.6-1.8mm material. Anything heavier is excess and dead weight.. but have fun, enjoy it and don't forget the build thread...

Great work there kallen. Looks like you can fit plenty of gear in there and the table works well.

Your old Q is looking pretty well set up for the upcoming trip, Kallen. What's next on the agenda, mate?
My advice is: not to follow my advice.

Mudnut, yea she hit the skids pretty hard but. Wife underestimated my income by $20g for the family tax, so will loose a couple of thou there. But I'm hoping to hunt down a daily runabout then ill start on the rear and interior.
Doing interior sound deadening, new tail lights, rear tower support and custom long range tank (140-150 litres ).
TD.
Yes it's a product called UHMW.. No idea what it stands for... But it is essentially a very though, slippery material so when back to backed its like bum checks on ice slopes... The bench only has it on the frame side, IMO not really needed at all on that due to no real weight when moving in and out..
