    So I ordered these bad boys in 285/75/16 today






    Will have them fitted either Friday or Saturday, Can't wait

    I just picked up some 285 75 16 KM2's on Ballistic Hyjak rims, cant wait to fit'em up and see what the alloys look like on the patrol

    with all your talk about larger tyres,just remember your wheel bearings will be under more load ,its a good idea to keep an eye on them insure that they tight with no free play,in saying this i am not knocking bigger tyres i have been running 35`s for 12months on my gu with no lift just had to remove front mudflaps.

    Neil you only chop out bearing with ridiculess offsets and deep dishes where the load from the tyre is pushing the bearing off the straight position for eg -30 offset with a 3" deep dish it puts load to the top of the bearing

    Untill I saw this pic I was going to say the look very roadish.. nearly like an atr.. but it has a bit of aggression to it..

    Going out today so hopefully can have a bit of a go and test them out, they rate them as a 70/30 but those centre voids are quite large, I have fairly large hands and I can fit my thumb in there quite loosely.

    How did you go on new Kumho, did you manage to have a crack at chopping up the treads.
