lovell springs
My local arb guy says he reckons the lovell springs on my Gu wagon are rubbish. He says they are very firm riding and not good quality. I have never experienced any other type of springs except the factory so don't know whether he's right. Has anyone else heard this about these or is he managing my expectations in the hope of future sales. I quite like the ride of the vehicle....

Seeing ARB suspension is a good grand above all else I can see where he wants you to spend your money.
Ride quality is from your Shocks , fit a set of KONIs fully rebuildable. at the end of the day its what you like not the ARB salesman.
Enjoy your ride as is while reseaching flexi coils springs that a few here run.

Keep your options open and have fun researching before making up your mind. Everyone will have their own opinion on certain products, some have good reports, some have mediocre reports. Each to there own.
Every sales man will over sell their own products to get your dollars.
Hang in there.
Most here have gone OLD MAN EMU, because of great feedback and nationwide after purchase service.

Funny you should say that, That is that ARB salesman reckons that lovel springs are crap. I spoke to a bloke who has a suspension business and he reckons that ARB are crap and only sells Lovell springs and EFS shockers. (I have ARB and I think they are good.) I did look at some Lovell springs and they did look a bit more Heavy Duty than the ARB springs in my rig so they probably are a really good option. If you are happy with the way your rig rides leave it alone. I think Lovell springs have been around for 70years so they must know what they are doing. This bloke I spoke to with the suspension business would not be selling Lovell springs to the public if they were crap. I think they are both good springs and there are other brands which are very popular.

Like I said each person has a different opinion of every product. Most of the well known brands must be doing something right to be well, well known.
