Printer app for iOS using older printers

For Mac owners only I'm afraid.

If you have anything running IOS & have been frustrated that you can't use it to print from, because your printer isn't 'airprint' or 'eprint' capable, there is a way. Apologies if this is old news, but I've only just found it.

    http://www.netputing.com/handyprint/ (I used the v.3.1.4)

Download it on your Apple computer or laptop. Installation is very quick & easy.
Once installed your computer or laptop functions as the print server (even if it's asleep) & the result is that you can just hit print on your iPad (or other IOS device) & hey presto it prints.

Our printer is a relatively ancient HP PSC 2510 which hasn't been supported in ages, & certainly precedes the advent of 'AirPrint' & 'ePrint' but it all now works seamlessly.

It is 'donation ware'. If it works, send whatever you think it is worth & you get a licence number in return which extends the initial 14 day free trial indefinitely.
