shaking patrol

Hi Every one can some one tell me how to stop the shaking in my front end hits about 60km and at 100km Ive been told its just a patrol thing??

Mate check the wheel balance at someone who uses a "finger" type balancer and then check all the bushes on the front end, worth checking your rims also to make sure they are ok

On top of finger balance, get a road force balance. It's a roller that mimics road pressure and pics up abnormalities in tread wear and moulding. Works 100% on my gq - absolute perfection.

Had a similar problem with my GU4. Had it put over the pits and discovered some cracking in the radius arm bushes. Apparently it's quite common in patrols.

i just had same problem in my patrol. it cost about $700 to fix and it was just bushes and a cople of other parts in front and is very comon in patrols. Up here in NT they call it the 80km shakes

Hi Loui,

Is it light shaking in the steering wheel, which you can stop by holding the wheel tight, or heavy shaking that you can feel through the car?
