what size thermo fan to put onto intercooler ?
hi guy does anyone have any ideas on what size thermo to put on top of my intercooler on a zd30 and where i might be able to get one in perth been looking around but the smallest i've seen are the 10" ones at supercheap. any ideas would be much appreciated. thanks in advance

try repco they had 8'' ones think the name was blizard or something like that
i took mine off and never had an issue with ic and we have some steep tracks here

Seen 8inch one mounted on top. I have seen them on Ebay and in Repco too by memory. But as Roofy kind of implied, not really needed. Unless you do sand driving then it would be of some help.

have you considered a pulling fan sits underneath if your willing to wait about 4 to 6 weeks ill let you now how it is im getting a spal 9" off ebay

i'll keep an eye out for how yours goes it would be good to know. And yes do alot of beach driving love my fishing and 4wding there's no better way to enjoy our beautiful country!!!

you can get a craig/davis 8 inch fan through auto barn. I had one on my gu111 it fitted snug around rubber boot. in saying this I found it of no use. egt;s did not change. also the fan it self restricts air flow causing heat soak. if you have the money get a bigger ic.
3lt GU 111 Wagon 2 inch lift,3in Taipan exhaust, cross country intercooler,catch can,EGR blocked, dawes and needle valve,Pyro/boost gauge ARB lockers,steinbaurer chip, long range tank, s/s water tank, draws, warn winch, and other stuff.

as june says there of no use i took mine off and hung it up
