There is no comparison, totally different vehicles with the only similarity being their size. All else has no comparison and heck "Some things don't matter much and most things don't matter at all"".
LC people wont change and Patrol people have the smile!! cheers

ummmmm
most people on the Caravan Forums I am on are saying that towing anything over 2t they are getting between 20-26l/100
which was comparable to my TB42 on Gas.........
I think the dash readout is very very inaccurate in your work 200..............
Tidy Whitey - 99 GU TD42Ti - Diesel Gas, (GUIV Turbo & Intercooler 8Lb boost), 33" Micky T's Baja MTZ's, Dual Batt's, Cargo Barrier, rear draws, HID Super Oscars, winch, Grinch & witch attached and more goodies to come

You don't have to go far for the truth!!! Towing a 3 ton van with a Y62 19-23l/k. All to do with wind direction with my high and wide off road caravan. No van at 100-110k/h 12-13l/k. Mixing urban and country 14-15l/k. That's me driving reasonably conservatively though. With a 400bhp donk put your foot down and 0-100 in 6.6 seconds WOW I wonder if you use more fuel then??? Why does everyone go back to fuel consumption?? Gee I thought build quality, ride, lack of cabin noise, smooth easy parking, no roll on corners and just plain driving pleasure should rate more. cheers!
PS I think "Preacher's 12k/l is without the van!!!"

yeah I know....I see toyo has dropped their prices for the cars made in japan(under the free trade agreement) but Nissan has not yet started.another goal for Toyota.
just asked the boss's old man and yes I told a big whopper..towing his van on a recent trip 13 000km he averaged 18.1lt/100km..
