Hi all,
I pick up my first Patrol on Monday 25th March.
Looking forward to viewing past discussion topics and learning the finer points of the Patrol.
Hopefully I wont be requesting too much that hasnt been discussed all ready

Thanks for the welcome people.
The nearly new vehicle in question is a (ex demo) 2012 series 8 GU ST 3.0 litre diesel.
A couple of reasons for going the Patrol was that so many people can't be all wrong.
Consistent good reviews from mates who had them.
They look good on the road even in stock condition.
I figured the last of the model should have most engine and driveline gremlins ironed out.
Price tag was very competitive.
Towing capabilities for a camper trailer were looked upon favouribly
Finally with 3 kids (10,12 & 13) that needed to be separated from each other the 7 seater Patrol was an easy choice.
