    GQ Patrol Ute Chop

    Hi,

    I have a rusty GQ patrol 7 seat wagon currently registered I was thinking about choping the back off and converting it into a king cab with a tray. Do I need a engineers certificate to do this in NSW or will I be able to get it through a pinks slip as a ute.

    Thanks
    Gerry

    You will need an Engineer regardless of either of this options. Do your research before you start and find a good Engineer and chat about what he wants to see before you start and a lot of pitfalls will be avoided.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
