    Trouble filling up with petrol

G'day all..! The last few times I have been to the servo to fill up with petrol at two different places I've had trouble filling up I can't seem to hold the trigger fully it just keeps clicking I have to only let it trickle in.. At first I thought it was just the pump.. But used a few differ t ones now.. Any thoughts of the cause .? Cheers

The thing that stops the fuel pump / trigger is the presence of fuel backing up.
I have had this issue with different pumps on different cars.
Sometimes it depends on how fast the fuel comes out and at what angle the filler neck is.
Hold the fuel nozzle at a different angle and see how that goes.
Alternatively, if there is an issue with the tube that goes into the tank, it could be causing the fuel to splash back up tot he nozzle, making it 'think' it's full and cutting the flow

Try not pitting the filler right in. Sit it back an inch or so and let it rest.
The nozzle will be pointing to the top of the fill pipe then and doesn't get as much splash..
