What is shimming a diff? Whats it mean/whats it require?
*TD42* 2 inch suspension, 2 inch body, dts turbo, 3 inch exhaust, twin lockers, bighorns

Hi mate, shimming a diff is adding shim washers to the LSD to make it tighter after it has loosened with wear and become inaffective, should really be done by a Pro.
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!!

Yep so when they fitted your lockers they would have set up your backlash with shims
