    GU Bullbar LED blinker/park lamps

So the smashed blinkers in Big Reds bullbar probably needed changing rather than fixing so i bought some "L.E.D. autolamps 175AW" lamps to replace them.

also bought a "Tridon HD13" electronic flasher to stop the "flashes too fast" problem.

put it in Big Red [in case you don't know its a 99 GU Patrol Ute] before i fitted the lamps and the fuse blew.
tried another Tridon HD13 in MissRed [in case you don't know its a 00 GU Patrol Ute] and it blew the fuse there also.

The new 3 pin flasher cans plugged straight in to the existing plug but is not compatible with the wiring and no others i could find were compatible either.
will have to rewire it i guess.

    original Tridon EP34

electro mechanical type to suit LED's

    Tridon HD13 suits 1 to 6 25w globes

    Tridon SD13 suits 1 to 10 25w globes

    The offending Bullbar blinkers.

Undo two screws to remove the unit

The mounting holes are about 1/2 a hole out

It is a simple matter to elongate the holes but you could probably just force it in the original holes anyway

    Mount the backing plate

The module clips on securely and is sealed so no need for silicon

I just used standard insulated spade terminals to plug it in
white [earth] goes to the vertical terminal on the right hand side
brown [parker] goes to the top horizontal terminal
yellow [blinker] goes to the bottom horizontal terminal

The flasher is clipped to a metal rail behind the edge of the centre dash section.
It was a simple matter to make some jumper cables for the wiring of the flasher to flasher plug and swap the green and black wires over.
