Looking for fill in work.
Well it looks like I have become a victim of the mining slow down atleast temporarily at the moment. What I would like to know does anyone require and skilled labour etc from the 25th of this month??
Im a qualified diesel fitter with riggers, doggers and overhead crane ticket. I do also have other tickets. I also have my HR truck license and a full open manual car license.
I can get to anywhere around brisbane north or southside.
PM me with any interest.

Never a good thing mate. Hopefully something comes up for you.
Jump on career one, simply hired and check out what's going on. I'm always getting job alerts for up that way, but always to far away...

That sucks to hear man! Hope something comes your way quick smart, you're too hard a worker to be in the unemployment line. Surely you will land something local with your skillset.

What is more annoying is they only told me today so basically only 10 days notice.
The slow down is partly what you have mentioned , competition in the market. However Australia still has the highest quality coal which they require to refine the ore. My belief is its a big power play between the major corporations and the government. You only have to look at the dismal outcome of the "mining tax" compared to its forecast $2 billion.
Gotta love this forum I even get support from someone who thinks im gonna steal his wife
Thanks Mate

Mate if it was anyone else.....!!!
As you may have read my wifes company has been pulled apart and manufacturing has gone to asia, she has been lucky but has had to start her own business but that is not ideal as I already have a business....
The bloody labour government has put up the land fill tax so bloody much I struggle to get people to understand, 4 years ago the tip cost me $24 and only $2 with a rates coupon now its $88 and $26 with a coupon and that's a bloody tip miles out forget a transfer station that would charge me about $120 to empty my trailer???
I could ramble on for ages.... hey I think I will listen to some Led Zeppelin..... ramble on ....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
