I had a book years ago "101 Things to make with fencing wire" and this toaster was in the book. A mate of mine borrowed the book and made one. Come to think of it .................... that's the last time I saw the book!!

Here you go TD. My effort at replicating your toaster. Not quite as slick as yours but it'll do the job. Constructed from an old electric fence pigtail post, a short piece of tube & some heavy fencing wire. It will rust of course (where the galvanizing has been burned/ground off) but I don't see this as much of a problem.
