hey guys
well after 18 years I have decided to call it quits with the defence, it has been a good run with plenty of memories but time to move on and let the wife float my wages for awhile.
looking at getting out in the new year once I have submitted all dva claims and get compo done. will be discharging in cairns.............and will be looking for work over that way.
my question is does any one know any one over that way hiring?

Hey mate, I'm not questioning your decision to leave but the times are tough within the private and government area. Hopefully the other side of Oz is a bit kinder to you but it is very hard to get anything down this way.
Depends what you want to do and obviously it depends on your expertise area.
Coming from Defence and hopefully some kind of clearance you should find it a lot easier to pick something up

well I have been in logistics for the past 12 years, got a fork lift ticket and a MR code also a diploma in logistics, so really any thing in logistics, just had enough of receiving pineapples and tired of stuffing the family around, that's why im getting out ....................
