When you try to start it does it just click or does it turn over slowly?

Thanks for everyone's advice so far..! So I have clean up the battery terminals n the leads to the battery was a bit of corrosion on it. And there was no difference in starting it.. Starts to try to turn over back takes a few seconds maybe 5 or 6 to get it running immediately on start up sits on about 600 rpm for a split second than goes up to about 1300 which is normal on start up than drops to about 900.. No ticking just turns over slowly.. Any more advice would be great thanks.!!!!!

With yendor.
You can pick up a battery terminal post cleaner for about $5 from most auto shops.
It has a bit for cleaning the posts, and a bit for cleaning the terminal part.
Alternatively, I have used a mild file to touch-them-up slightly.
Ensure the terminal is opened enough to push down properly and then tighten.
you can either get battery terminal protectant or I have used similar stuff to WD40 that doesn't evaporate

Checked the batt voltage as well and it 12.54V so it's all good there.. What am I lookin at maybe starter motor..???

Have you given the solenoid a soft tap with a hammer before starting? These become dicky over time and a tap can be a quick fix to start the engine. Though this will need to be rectified if it is the cause to your issues.

As well as checking your battery connections, also check the wiring to the starter. There will be a thick cable that runs directly from the battery to the starter, maybe remove this connection from the starter and give it a clean.
Also inspect the cable for any broken strands, especially at the terminal ends. Too many broken strands and it will limit the current flow through the cable.

Hey parksy yeh I'll give that a go tomorrow where abouts is the solenoid located..?? And yeh that voltage was with the car off..

The solenoid is a small cylinder looking thing mounted on the starter.

Hey so I have the solenoid a bit a tap before starting and there was a noticeable difference starting but still struggled a bit.. This time when it first started it sat at 600rpm for a second or two longer than before and raised to round 1300.. So with that noticeable difference I assume its my starter that's on it's way out..??????

It does sound that way. Some starters you can replace just the solenoid, being the cheaper option. If you do this, and it doesn't solve your problem, then it could be the starter. Personally I would just replace the entire starter.
